Branch Network

I love the patterns made by the tree branches near my home especially at this time of year when the leaves are not on them. It's simply fascinating to study the branch network and easy to see how the squirrels get so much fun out of the many routes available to them. There's a red kite regularly swoops down in the Close on the track of some rodent it has most likely spotted, whether it's a squirrel or a mouse or rat, I can't say. And then, if you're lucky you might also see the sparrow hawk that will attack things like pigeons and even squirrels if they get the opportunity.
