Alanya's Pirate Bay
If you walk around Alanya Bay you're sure to encounter friendly pirates, beckoning towards you, for you to come on board for a trip to sea. You decide to go on board. You are charged a princely sum, and when they're ready to go ... "we go in 5 minutes", they'll tell you ... an hour later and they're off. You find that they're all in it together and they just take you around the headland where you can ... walk the plank and swim in the sea (like you couldn't do that from the beach?) ... anyway I'm sure it's all jolly good fun.

Counterfeit Quo At Harvest Home Music Bar
Counterfeit Quo were a huge act to have at The Harvest Home in Sundon Road, last night, Saturday 9th March 2013. And what a treat for fans of Status Quo, to hear their heroes replicated in such an excellent manner by the formidable Counterfeits.
Counterfeit Quo features Ade Cade (the blonde) on Guitar, Shaun Michaels on Guitar, Jon Bower on Bass, Rob Slater on Drums. The band was formed in Essex in early 1995 by four hardened Quo fans who set out to recreate the dynamic Quo performances of old. They have certainly done that. They're performing in Ingleton on the 30th March, you lucky lucky folk of the Yorkshire Dales!

Landpark Wood
At Landpark Wood B4540/B4541, Bedfordshire 2013/2/13. Pathways very muddy in places. Not good for "silly shoes". Stout footwear, boots or wellies a must.
From the free car park near the roundabout, there is a gate through to a meadow. A litter bin and dog poo bin are available close by. Immediately ahead is a tarmacadamed path leading to a picnic table. The meadow is ideal for dogs to run around on. The meadow has a picnic table. Dirt paths run off at several points from the meadow. The paths are uneven and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Great for a ramble and for exploring.
